Meet Dr Vera Da Silva

Dr Vera Da Silva graduated at Uberaba University, Brazil in 1995. She has furthered her knowledge of various aspects of cosmetic dentistry by completing a Prosthodontics Specialisation course in Brazil in 2005. Vera has a particular interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, ‘smile design’, direct bonding composites, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening and much more.

According to Vera, the Composite Bonding technique can be “magical“ as it can bring a wonderful transformation to her clients' smiles with very little, or in the majority of the cases, no removal of teeth structure at all. She will be delighted to get to know you and to tell you a bit more about the wonders of cosmetic Dentistry.

Vera joined Vitaliteeth in 2019 after relocating from London to our beautiful City of Edinburgh in pursuit of a quieter life. Before that she worked for 7 years at a dental practice in Canary Wharf, London.

Offering the highest standard of care is Vera’s priority, she possesses a calm and reassuring nature and her patients can be assured of a stress-free dental experience.

In her free time, she enjoys nice walks in the park, some gardening and visiting beautiful historical sites with family and friends.

Having cosmetic and corrective dental work done can involve a lot of time and money. My experience with Dr Vera and Vitaliteeth is that it has been well worth both – friends tell me that they have never seen me smile so much!

At every stage of the process Dr Vera checked that I was happy with what she was recommending, as well as taking on board my comments and suggestions. During the treatments she explained everything clearly in advance and checked regularly that I was feeling OK. The dental nurses, receptionists and Tracey, the Practice Manager, were all lovely.
